Let’s hope everything returns to normal as soon as possible but to do this, we have to look after both ourselves and those around us. 

At Ibiza in Motion we are keeping an eye on all official information and news as it is announced, and will follow all hygiene and operating instructions being communicated by the government. At the moment, the private driver service is able to work but with limitations on the number of passengers, which will gradually expand as the weeks progress. On receiving a booking/request, we will inform you if any restriction affects the service and tell you how we can solve it – don’t worry, everything has a solution.

Fortunately, Ibiza is one of the mediterranean islands that has been least affected and one of the places in Spain with the least number of positive COVID cases, well below the Spanish average. Therefore it remains a safe and ideal place for a vacation or getaway once all this is over. In addition, many companies in Ibiza are making great efforts to make sure they will be allowed to open, the island still boasts a selection of accommodation that guarantees an optimal level of privacy, security and hygiene. Such as:

–VILLAS are usually scattered in the countryside, far enough from the more built-up areas to offer you privacy and enjoyment while spending vacations with family or friends. Villa rental companies will also make sure to increase the disinfection of homes.

-Reputable 5-star HOTELS will guarantee excellent hygiene with cleaning teams working day and night to keep facilities in perfect condition. In addition, there will be limitations on the number of guests staying at any one time, to assure the strictest health and safety measures.

–AGROTURISMOS, are small luxury establishments, halfway between a Villa and a 5-star hotel, but smaller and more intimate. The perfect place to switch off and get away from the world, while being amongst nature on a beautiful Mediterranean island. These characteristics make for a perfect way to safely enjoy a few days of disconnection.

–YACHTS, a way to enjoy the sea with total peace and privacy, whether for a day or several, visit Formentera in the safest way.

Commitment to a Germ Free Ride  

Our company, as a private chauffeur service, will exercise all possible measures to keep you safe, as you board your private car, which has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Giving you the peace of mind that you’re traveling in the safest possible way to your destination. Not to mention the satisfaction of tranquility, luxury, service and convenience a private driver travel offers.  

We have made an important purchase of products related to the cleaning and disinfection of vehicle interiors, as well as products that we will offer customers each ride: hydroalcoolique 70% antiseptic hand sanitizer, antibacterial and fungicidal wipes, cleaning hands wipes, disposable gloves and as always, water. Our drivers will use disposable gloves during each transfer as well as wearing official, FFP2 regulatory masks. From September we will happily continue wearing them in cases where the client requests.

Payments will only be accepted by credit card or through a contactless payment system, either before the service through our online payment system. Both methods are convenient and easy for the client, we can also take presential payments with an infrared data phone for contactless payment.

The health and safety of our drivers is very important for us. Therefore in order to reduce the risk of catching or transmitting the Covid-19 Virus to people, we ask that all our drivers ensure that they are following the below measures:

• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water
• Greet customers with a bow instead of a handshake
• Keep alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol to disinfect your hands
• Wear a face-mask at all times that you are in contact with other people
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth and cover your cough or sneezes with your arm, and not your hand 
• Clean and disinfect your vehicle, pay special attention to surfaces that your passengers frequently get in contact with. e.g.: back seat and doors
• Provide an alcohol-based hand sanitizer and sanitary wipes in the back seat for customers
• If you feel sick, please do stay at home even if it is only a mild sickness, fever and cough
• *Ask to passengers what they prefer: Don’t touch passenger’s luggage — open the trunk for them, but they should put the luggage in and take it out by themselves
• Wear gloves
• Try to keep the 1-m distance between you and the passenger

We are allowed to travel with 4 passengers using our Minivans Mercedes-Benz V Class or Vito.

 

 

 

 

UPDATE 11th JUNE
From 22th June we will be allowed to travel with full capacity in all kind of vehicles, but all the passengers are required to wear a mask by law.
>>> From July 1st, European flights will arrive in Ibiza. A large number of businesses like restaurants are opening their doors, and it will be without limitations as of June 22.
